Peju Merlot Sangria |

Blackberries
Strawberries
Mint Leaves
Peju Merlot |

In a small sauce pot add sugar and ½ cup Peju Merlot; mix until it forms a wet sand look. |

Turn on heat and cook for 3 or 4 minutes until it looks like a rich burgundy color syrup. |

Allow to cool for 5 minutes and place in a large pitcher, which will be used for the finished sangria. |

Add cut up fruit and berries, and rest of the bottle of Merlot. |

Chill over night. |
